  • I'm here, as well, hoping the best for you. I'm very grateful for the way you've approached this. And this isn't me being judgmental, but just a concerned follower: do you have a game plan for IF you start swinging again? I don't know if after your manic episode you had a true plan, but obviously you have close family who really cares about you. :) I just want to put in that SOONER action is better than a delayed reaction. *happy for you!*

  • @lovebiotech I agree. My plan is to monitor my moods closely and if I begin to swing into mania or depression again I will see my doctor and talk about resuming meds. But I am hopeful that won't happen, at least not for quite awhile! :)

  • Congrats! Glad to hear you had a good day. I just started empower a few weeks ago. It's a natural suplement to treat bipolar disorder. Have you heard of it?

  • @AntisocialVirtuoso No, I've never heard of that.

  • wow!! hope things work out!!! ps-i like your hair

  • @monicanietzsche Thanks!

  • The insomnia was incredible....and lasted for months when i went off... very tough to get through....and letting go off the last 1 mg was when things really got bad

  • @AntisocialVirtuoso You should make a video of how the empower vitamins work for you....i have heard of it... but i am skeptical..those are some expensive vitamins.......seems nobody has any evidence about what causes bipolar...but docs and others are quick to sell you "the answer" nonetheless.. ...But ill try vitamins....never would i take antipsychotics again

  • @BipolarStateofBeing I'm cheering for you, hon! :)

  • @BipolarStateofBeing The companies theory is that bipolar is caused by major vitamin deficiencies that result in major issues in the brain. Basically people with bipolar don’t absorb nutrients normally and it makes you nuts. I’m optimistic about this product. Keep your fingers crossed.

  • @BipolarStateofBeing It's a little expensive and it's not covered under medical plans. It's about $150/month. I will keep you posted. I hope it works. It's been giving me a lot more energy and has improved my depression. You can check out the website truehope.com

  • you look so excited and happy. i wish you the best and it's wonderful that you know your triggers and have family support. you seem like a gal that really has it all together. i look forward in hearing more!

  • @apotheker73 Congrats, I hope you do well! 7 years is a long time!
