WOW thanks for posting that...that must have been awesome to be right in the middle of it all, but that's what bluegrass is, people sitting on their porches, picking, singing...for their own pleasure as well as that of others. This video rocks!

Wow! What a treat it would have been to wander into that pub for a pint at that very moment.
Ya don't get a band much closer to the audience than THAT! :-) I had the priviledge to visit Sommerset, Ohio circa 1978, on one of my "Free Mexican Airforce"-type "Missions". (wink) I can tell you that it is a flyspec of a town, where not much happens around there. Sommerset did also have a good diner for breakfast, and a real nice antique shop. For Peter Rowan to drop by town was probably one of the biggest things to ever hit that town!

Nah, not in Ohio, this was in Somerton/ Pitney in Somerset , England, UK. He visits regular and is part of our music Family. Cool Huh!
