That leads to James Taylor, who's performing Shower the People with singers John
Legend and Jennifer Nettles.
Bono, Beyonce, Aretha Franklin, Oprah Winfrey, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Denzel Washington, George Clooney, Tom Hanks and Jay-Z.
The names, a who's who of the rich, famous and successful in the world of music and film, are just some of the stars who are descending on Washington DC this week.
They're all here in town to celebrate the inauguration of a politician who has become a celebrity in his own right.
Barack Obama's swearing-in ceremony on Tuesday is bringing with it a sense of glitz and glamour usually associated with Los Angeles and New York.
The names on that billing include Beyonce, golfer Tiger Woods giving a reading, actress Queen Latifah, Bono, Shakira, Denzel Washington and Bruce Springsteen.

NewChristiansoldier, has been spouting off all over the layout the same few canned words.
The disgrace is that our last Born Again President, decided to abandon his moral duty,
and lied to get this country into a war. That is a disgrace. Now we face this economic crisis brought on by 8 years of mismanagement.
Tell you what, why don't you pray to our Lord to rally around this brilliant man, and help fix these problems. Make it YOUR priority to take in one of those tented families.

And, the balls, concerts & all the ceremony surrounding the inauguration means something, too. There's reason to celebrate.
The money the inaugural is costing probably wouldn't even make a dent as far as the problem the economy is in. Madoff...he lost billions of investors' money...billions. That's just one guy.
Stopping the inaugural hoopla & celebration ain't gonna bring that money back. And you're naive if you think the problem the US economy is in will be solved if you nix the celebrations.

I would venture to guess all of the performers got paid a big, fat ZERO.
They are a part of history, and they know it. They would probably turn any money down, or donate it to some organization.
That may sound like some utopian ideal, but, seriously, if you had a chance to perform at the inaugural concert of the first black President in American history, would you care what you got paid, or if you got paid at all?? I wouldn't. Most people wouldn't.

I wonder how much Springstein & U2 was paid to do this because you know he didn't do it for free! Why would Obama rathar spend over $100 million on this inauguration than help all those poor families in Southern California who lost their homes from sub-prime loans and now have to live in tents!? It is sad that so many Americans have lost their jobs and their homes forced to live on the street and Obama spends this kind of money just to party. What a waste, this is totally disgraceful.ss

Stop hating Bush,it's over,he already gladly handed the presidency to Muslim Obama who will kiss the Muslim's ass & allow Muslims to bomb us without doing a dam thing about it. Jan 20th Obama will have delivered The United States to Allah & Islam. Bush will live to say, "I told you so." Be happy you dam Muslim mother fuckers you have won. You have successfully bought & paid for the presidency for Obama and Sharia Law will be the law of our land. Today war with Isreal, tomorrow war in the U.S..

They should have shown this great song by James Taylor instead of a quote from reagan the hypocrite.
He hated the poor with a passion.
He hated the workers and middle class.
Like all republicans.
