The Broad Street Subway is Empty?
-
i wonder wat the intro messages sound like with AT&T...
"Southbound Local Line Train to AT&T Station"
or "Southbound Special Express line to AT&T Station"
-
That's one really loud train!
-
It's called the Wabco AA-2
-

These are the horns that are on nearly all SEPTA trains, most notably the Silverliner MU cars found on the Regional Rail lines.
However, SEPTA's Bombardier/AEM-7 and ALP-44 push-pull trainsets use Nathan AirChime K5LA horns. Imagine a K5LA in the subway! ;-)
To respond to another poster's comment, these cars were built by Kawasaki in 1981.

No, you didn't read correctly. I wrote I knew it *wasn't* the J, M or Z trains. I just though the train *might have* been a retired train from NY. I did not know that it was a sort of replica of our--New Yorkers'--trains. Good info though.

It's no surprise you mistook the BSL for the J,M or Z... The BSL was copied from the BMT and the IND. As a sidenote... The MFL was copied from the IRT.
Were you by your self?
