Yeah it's beautiful,been there many times since it was just fishing villages,early 70s.But beware now of the drug pushers,it;s a set up. Police and dealers charge unsuspecting tourists with possession and then blackmail you for money..and a lot!Latest is a 14 yr old boy in jail for buying $25 bucks worth,then dobbed in to police who are complicit in all this for money grabbing.

Wow, that's fabulous. Bali must be the most beautiful place on the Earth. I'm going next month. Seems to be sorta like Thailand, but with more extreme exotic beauty.

Bali was one of the best trips I've ever had. Luxury accommodations for 2-star US hotel prices. Amazing food for the price of a Subway sandwich. Gorgeous surf, interesting culture, welcoming people, and daily massages for under $8/massage. It was relaxing. My favorite part, besides the seafood and massage was hanging out in Monkey Forest (Ubud). The worst part was going to Kuta and getting lost in the back alleys and picking my way through swarms of pseudo-surfers.
