season 3 is when i stopped watching for some reason. just wasnt the same anymore and i hated the season 3 opener

Sam Whipple, who played Ballard, was battling cancer at the time, and died shortly after he left the show.

7 Days was a great show. I regret that I missed out on it until after it was canceled. My cable provider didn't carry UPN, and I only saw 7 Days as reruns after I switched to satelite TV.
If the rumors of why it was canceled are true, then Vail should have been fired and the show should have gove on. LaPaglia was vital to the show; Vail was not. Her character could have been recast or written out and the show would have still been great.
But UPN never made many good decisions, did they?
