This is a story about a little hedgehog (voiced by Mariya Vinogradova) and his friend bear cub (voiced by Vyacheslav Nevinniy). The two would meet every evening to drink tea from the cub's samovar, which was heated on a fire of juniper twigs. As they drank their tea, the hedgehog and the bear would converse and count the stars together. One day, the hedgehog decides to bring the bear cub some raspberry jam. On his way to meet the bear to count the stars, he passes through the woods and encounters a beautiful, white horse standing in a fog so thick that the hedgehog can't even see his own pink paw. He is curious as to whether the horse would drown if it went to sleep in the fog. The hedgehog decides to explore the fog for himself.

  • I ran into this by accident but I am absolutely taken by it, it is so beautiful, innocent, deep....you feel like little kid again watching this....fascinating....."Ja jozek" love the little guy talking....love the part where he gets to a tree and when he finally find his bear friend, just warms up your heart.....

  • All human beings are like hedgehogs in a fog. We are very afraid of the unknown and our imagination paints us all that is possible. But the main thing to have someone waiting for you and I called out of this emptiness and the fog, still waiting, as Bear was waiting for a hedgehog. And that unknown anyway occupies our thoughts when we control to select from a situation that often has no outlet, especially if this situation still remains someone you knew, but forgot about the hedgehog horse.

  • Soviet trip hop.

  • This captures the essence of why I am studying Russian. Noadays there are Neo-Nazis, Homelessness, Rape, Murder, ect. in Russia but It is the culture and history that keeps me coming back. I hope one day soon that Russia resets itself back into a great cultural, mysterious, and wonderful country that I love so much. Слава России!

  • sad cartoon...

  • ahah, is a cartoon so old in my opinion, it was drawn before the collapse of the Soviet Union. Even some of nastolgiya were children.

    Sorry for bad English.

  • Perhaps it is possible to describe a long time, but it is better to try to understand myself. This cartoon has the depth to understand, probably because he was so loved by the Japanese and received many international awards.

  • I like when he says "psycho".

  • haha!! I love the random dog! lol. he's my favorite. :)

  • Before "Toy Story", there was "Hedgehog".
