  • Well it might come down to personal tastes, but I prefer Stephen's voice over Jimmy's. It took a long time for me to start liking the old Haste the Day stuff after listening to Pressure the Hinges and Dreamer. Stephen gives the songs a different feel which I prefer and my vocal style is similar to his in a way. I have a video up of me covering their song "Porcelain". If you want you can check it out, nice video and good solo!

  • Badass drum solo(:

    haste the day drum solo

  • Stephen's good, but sorry he's no Jimmy. Old HtD songs aren't the same w/o him

  • the only reason i'm watching this is because of joey. he graduated with my sister and i played volleyball with his younger brother. i really wish he could come back to Once Nothing and bring back the guitarists

  • i think the new singer is good, but it doesn't sound right for him to sing old HtD songs, it just seems kinda weird

  • and while this may not really be the Haste the Day that I used to love so much, I still love what they've turned in to... the new band is great! and truthfully, they're better live now!

  • this was the first live video i saw after hearing that both Chaulk bro had left... and as someone who saw HTD back when they were still playing KofC halls in Indy, i was expecting to hear the worst... but i was pleasantly surprised to hear strong choruses and an amazing drummer... i think this just proves that no band member is irreplaceable.

  • hes jazz trained, portnoy is too if im not mistaken.

  • Their drummer has some Portnoy influence... Huugge haha, he did his solo just like Portnoy. Loved it
