I like this show, just started watching it about a week ago but I like how everyone is real and not skinny and tall like the new degrassi.

i grew up with this. it's because they used real kids and not kid actors.

I remember this episode so well. I remember being horrified that her brother put her through such humiliation! He could have just waited and nagged on her about it when she got home, like most people would have, instead of dragging her out like that in front of all her friends! To this day, I think he is one giant asshole.

Diana's brother is definitely an autocrat and dictator like Michelle's father, regardless of whether or not his actions are culturally related or not.

Perhaps George should learn that parents should make decision about a child, not a sibling unless he is appointed a legal guardian.

Even in Greek society and culture, women and girls have a say and have rights too.

At least George starts to change, and you see evidence of it in Season 2.
