step 1 : quantum fluctuations

@ThnxProductions Who cares how many planets are 'capable of supporting life?' that doesn't mean that random lifeless particles are any more capable of creating life from nothingness.
It doesn't matter how much food, water, wood-shavings, and toys you put in a hamster cage: You still wont get a hamster in a trillion years unless you go buy one to put in it.

And also, your comments about life coming from billion degree rocks, do remember that the progression of life was linear, we started as simple chemicals formed by the productions of elements (which is made by heating hydrogen to massive temperatures causing nucleur fusion) and these chemicals became self-replicating.
Only the most stream-lined models however existed long enough to flourish, and hence, evolution took place.
Life didnt "pop" into existence, we are (so far) the end product of a

Hmmm, I know this video is really old now, but I felt like replying anyway. But first, thank you for not telling us all we're going to hell, I appreciate that.
The way I see it, why is it so inconceivable to think that the universe has ALWAYS existed?
I mean, just because we can't understand it, does not mean it can't happen.
And there is evidence to suggest that before the big bang there was another universe, and that this universe is heading towards it's own big bang.
It's a cycle.
I'm pretty good with what you're sayng, exept for one thing, you keep repeating this "the universe willing itself into existence" thing and I don't get that at all. I mean the universe isn't alive or sentient is it ? I don't know what that means.

@randomMarvelDCguy Its that before the big bang there was nothing, then a huge explosion and the universe is created. There is no way it just did that for no reason.

trillion year path the universe happens to have taken.
I mean, there are BILLIONS of planets, is it so strange to think that a couple of hundred were going to be capable of supporting life?
And space, well space is an adventure man!
I'd love to see other planets, and witness the wonders of the universe, I mean, we only live once.
That's just my view, I'm not forcing it on you or anyone, I'm just giving you the other side of the arguement :)

this guy is not ranting. he is struggling with his own misunderstanding of the very topics he is discussing. he has no answers, only questions.

Ah so you and god are tight and you have ALL the answers. Gotcha.
