  • Conky is way to big for your screen

  • The coppermine is a BEAST"! I've got a 600 mhz making fun of my friend's 1.6 Ghz Amd laptop!

  • The P3 is a very stout processor. I have a 850MHz P3 running ubuntu server edition. It's my primary data server and has been running well over a year with out any major problems related to the processor, and I get about GB/s transfer speed over LAN. To think some people just throw these things away!

  • thats pretty fast boot for a p3

  • I use LXDE with Xubuntu on my 933 MHz computer (512 MB RAM). It's faster than XFCE.

  • Not as fast as gentoo though..

  • very very fast at the desktop
