The Geneva Initiative is a model permanent status agreement to end the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. For more information, visit our website @ www.geneva-accord.org and join us on Facebook at "Geneva Initiative".

The Geneva Initiative provides realistic and achievable solutions on all issues.
In addition to presenting a detailed blueprint for Israeli-Palestinian peace, the GI aims to bring that moment of peace closer, by showing the way and preparing public opinion and leadership to be accepting of the real compromises required to solve the conflict.

The Geneva Initiative NGOs educate and campaign, both locally and internationally, that it is in the best interest of Israelis and Palestinians to negotiate directly in order to reach a realistic, dignified, and sustainable 2-state solution in which both peoples can build a brighter future, as is embodied in the model Geneva Accord.

The GI and our activities are designed to reinstill in the Israeli and Palestinian peoples the hope that it is possible to reach an agreement that will serve their respective national and personal interests and aspirations. We are committed to exposing each side's public to the message of the other -- despite the technical and psychological barriers.

After a century of violence between Israelis and Palestinians, the Geneva Initiative offers a real and mutually agreed upon possibility for ending the conflict between the two sides and obtaining a mutually acceptable peace that guarantees the vital national interests of both sides.

  • @raeef A two state solution is the only peacefull solution for us. At the end of the British mandate in 1947 the UN voted for the establishment of 2 states: An Arab state and a Jewish state. Now it's time for all of us (Israelis and Palestinias) to accept this fact once and for all. If the entire international community accepts it - than we should too. It's time for you to choose, Raeef: 2 states or endless war. what will it be??

  • @Tkan3an "Palestinian refugees will not be allowed back to their land which they were kicked from 63 years ago" - they weren't "kicked" out they ran to get out of the way of their invading arab armies / brothers who said "when we're done you can come back & finish off raping & pillaging the remaining Jews. Arabs were offered a state, THEY TURNED IT DOWN, they lost, NOW GET OUT AND GO BACK TO EGYPT, SYRIA ,LEBANON & JORDAN where your grandparents came from, before they squatted in Israel.

  • A complete crock of crap, concocted by communists (Belin & Sarid) & jihadists (Jabbo). A MNF, so that jihadis can continue to attack Jews & then run and hide behind Eurotrash troops? "refugees" coming back to Israel? GFY. There already is a "palestinian state": JORDAN. Israel should finish & annex Yesha, any arabs who want to stay can do so as REGISTERED ALIENS, or get out, & every jihadi attack will result in complete destruction of the source area of the attack.

  • Naive. 1) Has there ever been divided city that has been a capital of two nations? 2) WHO would make up this "special regime" to keep the new capital "open" (what ever that means)? How would they be chosen? Appointed (by who), elected? What would their powers and responsibilities be exactly?

  • Wow very nice production. Who paid for it?

  • Sorry I cannot accept that Israel has military presence inside Palestine. In any case it's too late. The two state solution is no longer valid. Only solution is one apartheid state.

  • @ranshacked >>I think that even if the 2 states solution got implemented it will not solve the issue because many on my side including me will keep on believing that it's not a fair solution. All the Palestinians should be involved in making huge decisions like these mentioned in this 2 minutes video. I didn't elect Abbas or Abdrabbo to talk on my behalf so at least a referendum is needed. If Abbas approves this plan it doesn't mean that Palestinians do.

  • @ranshacked I don't really care about the international community that much, the most important factor for me is whether the Palestinians who used to live in Jerusalem, Akka, Safad , Haifa will accept that they won't go back to their homes, I am more concerned about this. What @Tkan3an said is a valid point, it's not fair that the settlers stay on a land that is occupied and those who used to live there won't be able to come home.

  • its funny how this 2 minutes deal sums up occupation: 75% of the half a million illegal settlers will stay in the occupied territory, why? because ''the jews has an unbreakable bond after 3000 years'' , but Palestinian refugees will not be allowed back to their land which they were kicked from 63 years ago..Peace will only come if the zionists abandon their racist discrimination, and decide to live respecting humanity, we r equal& the right of return is not for yaser abd rabo to negotiate.

  • A demilitarised Palestine is OK as long as there is a demilitarised and non-nuclear Israel too. If there is a right of return for Jews with no connection with Israel over centuries, then there must, at least, be a full right of return for Palestinians with direct and recent (63 years) connections to Palestine/Israel.

Why should there be any Israeli “security” presence in Palestine? An International (UN) force maybe.
