David Serva in one of his public recordings -- Taranta. Taranta resembles Taranto, but is free form instead, and therefore, does not abide by compas rules. The aire is typically more melancholic and expresses feelings of loneliness and sorrow, compared to other palos. Taranta is a song of the miners in Spain and so I decided to go with a picture appropriate for such a palo -- a simple picture of a lit candle that hopefully captures the feeling associated with mining away alone in the depths of a cavern.
