That's the problem. The U.S. is an imperfect government yet they parade themselves around the world as if they were the only truth out there. No country has the right to tell another how to run things, especially when their solutions involve war, terrorism, propoganda subversion, trade embargos, etc.

this people are taking so much about democrasy worrying about latinamerica demcratic prosses. what about USA democrasy lets fix this firs then we help other countries fix theirs.we have alots of work here like help the african americans and poor whites to get healthcare better education and housing is a rich country and alot of poor.when latin america reaches the usa lavel on wealth it better be alot better that we have here right now.

you are right in the 1970's and 1980's most goverment were military dictadors but one thing you are not saing is that those military presidents were put there by washington in order to control them and consume the people in pobrety and control their economies. but guess what is over latin america will be free ones in for all as u can see big step are being taken to united the latin countries and move fordward together with or without the USA. no more free trades only fare trades the way shouldbe
