@martingrygiel ROFL!! He calls that loud? It's a fan for fuck sake. And it's at stressed speeds.. Some people just lack the comprehension of a decently built PC. Nice job to say the least!

i'm not really a fan of 1155 nor 1156, always sticked to 1336, and soon upgrading to 2011, but i must admidt that it is a great rig, and pretty powerfull for the price, i believe you are aware that 1155 and 1156 platforms are mainstream and are not the most powerful and even though 1155 CPUs can beat 1366 quad cores, the platform is still better. not criticizing, just putting things claer cause people say 1155(mainstream) beat1366(enthusiast) in everything!!

@joyfuflower Get a console to play ARMA 2, and I would consider your proposal. For the record, I own a PS3 as well. Rarly used, exept for blue rays and ps1 games.
Sorry, but gaming on a computer will allways be better than console, exept driving games.

What song is this btw? O.o

@rspain85 A low end core2 based PC will beat the crap out of any of the consoles for image quality in, say, Crysis - at the *same* res. PC's have more power, so the consoles try to keep up by using low quality textures, 3D models with far fewer polygons etc. So image quality suffers *a lot*.
The next gen of consoles will catch up for 6 months, if at all, then they'll get left far, far behind again...

@martingrygiel Not just that, but every game you can get on a 360 or PS3 that you can also get on PC looks far, FAR better on PC at *ANY* res. Plus the games cost a lot less on PC. I wouldn't have gone for an i7, I'd have gone for an i3 (most games can't use the extra cores) for a gaming rig, and saved some cash to spend on games, but it's your money!

@joyfuflower Even if you plug a wired xbox controller in and play all of your games on your pc with it, its STILL better than a console. Why? Because it actually runs at full 1080, unlike the junk consoles that scale everything up. And you talk about it being loud? I have an xbox 360 and the fucking DVD drive in it is way louder than most pc's I have owned. And on top of that, I have to pay 50 bucks a year to game online with it. Thats not good value compared to a gaming pc.

@IamTheJesusGuy First of all, I am a PC gamer. Second, he did say his brother wanted a console. My point was that if he was seriously considering a console, maybe a hardcore gaming pc is not for him. He probably even got a controller for his pc and that kinda ruins the point, doesn't it?

@joyfuflower GET OF THESE VIDEOS CONSOLE FAGGOT
So for 4x the price, you made a really loud PC that plays the same games, but with the added joy of dealing with DRM and allmost weekly system updates and making sure you are protected online and having to install the games and having to buy windows and whatever else you use. Did you really help your brother or did you give him a huge bill for a system that could easely be replaced with a perfectly simple console?

@joyfuflower
I disagree with you :)
Only one word: 1080p... Your "perfectly simple console" is too slow for 1080p!

Few questions, how was the build quality of the case? just most standard cases even high end gaming cases have side panels like paper.
Would you recommend a case like this for a gaming build only, in my case no pun intended a i5 2500(no K) and a single 6850 1x 120gb ssd and thats it.....

Sure, it's good for gaming, bui if you want to overclock it won't be easy.
