Stock fuel injection, custom upper intake, Eaton M90 from an 89 T-Bird SC. This was a setup I ran on my 1984 E-150 for a little while.

  • @ seapeddler The belt for the blower ran off of the water pump pulley with an idler/tensioner. It worked for the 2psi of boost that it ran. I just converted my 1990 F150 to v-belt setup to free up some room under the hood for the supercharger, I'll probably run a bolt on serpentine off the front of the balancer for that.

  • what all did you do to make the supercharger fit, what kind is it?

  • @yzkx711 It's an Eaton M90, I had to build a bracket and make a v belt pulley fit the keyed input shaft. I also had to make an upper plenum/throttle body for the intake and make a boost pipe. Nearly 100% of this setup was homemade, only bought the supercharger, pulley and the blow off valve.

  • @rctrukboi thanks for the quick reply,.......all the other vids had extreme modified superchargers to fit and it worried me because im possibly going to do this, How much horse power do you have???

  • @yzkx711 No idea, never put it on a dyno. I only ran 2 PSI boost simply because I calculated pulley ratios the wrong way, lol. Also, my engine I built had around 7.5:1 static compression so it was a turd until I put the supercharger on it. Probably had the same power/torque as a properly built stock 300 if I had to guess.

  • @derrickjabs Thanks! I'm working on another supercharger setup for my 300 that's in my truck right now, should be pretty neat. Might not be done for a while, just got an 83 Mustang for a project car so most of my spare time will be devoted to that. Will post some vids of the car once I get rolling on it :)

  • iv ben looking for this for my truck for about 3 years now

  • Wow... interesting. Done on a van, huh? Even more interesting. Glad to see people starting to do some forced induction stuff on the 4.9!

  • wow, souinds like a t-bird! That thing must have balls!

  • Holy crap!!!!!! Awesome!

  • I'm curious as to how you got the belt to function.

The thermostat housing really impedes with any belt re-routing.
