Screen legends Bette Davis and Olivia De Havilland guested together on TV legend Steve Allen's "I've Got A Secret" on March 1st, 1965 to promote their soon-to-be-classic new film, "Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte". In honor of Bette Davis's nationally recognized Centennial, as well as 20th Century Fox Home Video's remastered special edition of "Hush...Hush, Sweet Charlotte", available everywhere this holiday season, I hope that you will all enjoy this classic piece of 60s TV nostalgia!
In this segment, comedian Barbara Heller proves to be the secret of Miss Davis and Miss de Havilland from a panel that includes Buddy Hackett and Betsy Palmer.

In honor of 45 years since the release of "HUSH....HUSH, SWEET CHARLOTTE" & commemoration of twenty years since the passing of Miss Bette Davis...

I think Olivia was Bette's only real friend in her day. Maybe even more, if you watch them when their together Bette just looks at her in a loving way and Olivia looks at her the same way and it's quite sweet if you know how Bette could be when she didn't like you lol...and as we've already established here on the comment list that things can be taken anyway someone wants them to be taken, so read into my comment how ever you may like...It's clearly MY oppinion =)

@MissGarland18 Bette Davis is my favorite actress,but yes,even I know what you mean.Another friend of Bette's was Joan Blondell. Great actress that Bette was doesn't mean always easy to get along with. :)

@BernardProfitendieu You clearly don't know your classic film stars very well. Because they were as coarse, if not MORE coarse than, me. Ever heard of Joan Crawford? Carole Lombard? Bette Davis? They had FILTHY mouths. And VERY dirty minds. A quote from Miss Lombard: "If I don't eat something soon I will have to suck semen from you for protein."
