  • good luck

  • Cool hopefully during the break when I head up there I can catch the westbound NY&A freight at 3:45 P.M.

  • The mainline(electric) The double deckers you catch are on the central branch which is former line. Now used for little freight MOW and Connects the babylon/montauk branch ot the mainline.

  • Awesome man thanks for the info. I'd like to catch one of those instead of the Double Deckers once in a while. Which line do you see them on? Is it the electric line down the street or the diesel line?

  • There is no print out i just know people who are connected with the company. And when its not raining like it FUCKING HAS BEEN FOR THE PAST 2 WEEKS. I catch them every day in farmingdale. at the station heading west at about 3:45 PM and they come eastbound at 11-12am

  • I yeah. Then how do you find it?

  • I do =d

  • I hate to tell you this but I don't know the schedule of the New York and atlantic RR. It came unexpectadly. They are busier on weekdays, thats all I know. Thanks for the comment.

  • Hey there, have seen some of your LIRR videos and enjoy them. I've always loved trains. I would love to see/film some NYA equipment moving through Farmingdale...do you know if there are NYA trains that pass Farmingdale every night? Or approx. how often?

It seems NYA moves freight at night often?

Also, many Montauk branch trains going both east and westbound use the Babylon branch tracks...you can watch the diesels pass through on random grade crossings BLN branch stations.

    Take care :)

  • There are 4 trains that use this stretch on weekdays, and one train on weekends/holidays. You will see a train run through on that stretch between the following time intervals. The trains run weekdays ONLY, except the first which runs 7 days per week and holidays.

    1:30AM - 1:45AM E/B

    7:37AM - 7:55AM W/B

    3:16PM - 3:40PM E/B

    5:29PM - 5:46PM E/B
