"Will It Light?" is a video series that asks the question: Will the food and liquid we consume give us energy or take it away---will the water we drink light us up? Dr. Robert O. Young Ph.D. tests bottled waters to discover their energy giving potential.

  • So the test is whether or not the high pH water conducts electricity. The light of course, does have another power sources. Right?

  • @ZoZem Yes. It would change the world if we could power light bulbs with liquid. There is a 110v power supply to the bulb. The probe acts as a switch that only closes when the conductivity of the fluid increases.

  • You can add salt to water and other fluids and get the same results (they showed that experiment in my Physics class). This is a hoax where the experiment results have absolutely nothing to do with the claims. It simply shows that the water can conduct electricity when made a solution. We need water for hydration and food for the energy. Electrolytes in water are a nice extra boost when dehydrated, but water in and of itself should normally do the job.

  • I can get the same results by adding a small amount of salt to my water so what does this prove?

  • i can see by your white coat that you are INDEED a doctor.. you look professional, and you are also performing an experiment, which also means you are a scientist.. these things coupled with my confusion lead me to believe i should buy this water from you. do the proceeds go to the needy? or to you? Thanks!

  • HA WATER ISNT A FOOD !! its a liquid!!

  • Anyone knows where can i get one of these probes? am trying all kind of words to search for but cant find anything, tried ebay and google but nothing pops, would appreciate, thx

  • @pHMiracleCenter

Don't you mean solution? And you can power a lightbulb with solutions. And shouldn't you be running off to Paraguay with a suitcase full of cash by now? C'mon, you know you want to.

  • Thanks pH - let's get on it and tell everyone the truth.

  • will lemon water light?

  • pH level is important, but you can still have an alkaline water with a positive ORP which means it does not have much electrons. The lower the ORP number the better. So Dr. Young would say the best water is that with a high pH AND a low ORP....high pH is good, but not enough
