Michael Chapdelaine plays Granada by Albeniz. He says in his concerts that he wakes up sometimes in panic that "i'm not a classical guitarist anymore" and records some standard work to confirm or dispel.

  • Well played. Anyone that thinks this is "poorly" played is simply a snob and cannot close their eyes and simply enjoy the music.

  • i think that it's more important that it was a very good interpretation, i don't care if he is even naked.

  • Fantastic, long time since I heard such beautiful guitar playing!

  • this is .....(well i have no words)......played with so much emotions and feelings....and what i liked the most is that rise and fall in playing like that of a river....no extra hitting noise of right hands.....AMAZING !!!!!!

  • very nice playing...

  • @Bmgwak12 beautiful comment Bmgwak... I could not agree more!

  • Music is not Math. There's definitely a method to playing guitar, but what it really comes down to, I believe, is feeling. And this man plays with a lot of feeling. I catch it every time.

  • @Itheprosperone I agree. I wouldn't call them a snob, but they have to get used to his philosophy that music is music. It's an aquired taste that many people don't share in this time period. It's very Baroque-ish haha. I will only say this for Michael Chapdelaine though because he can really pull that stuff off.

  • Spellbinding. I tried to listen to it "in the background" while working and couldn't. And kudos for the bare feet and natural but unorthodox hold! The man is in symbiosis with his guitar.

  • Beautiful piece . You can ear our playing for guitar and recorder on youtube :

    Demarez Cassignol

  • great interpretation for a piece that is easy to play, but very difficult to express... which usually goes hand in hand
