Scores dead after US strike in Afghanistan - 06 May 09

The Afghan president is in Washington DC for high level talks, but back in Afghanistan a deadly airstrike has once again killed scores of civilians.

The local governor of a small community in Western Afghanistan claims that more than 100 civilians have been killed in a US led airstrike.

The Red Cross confirmed the attack, saying its representatives have seen dozens of bodies. Al Jazeera has filmed exclusive pictures from Farah Province and Nick Clark reports from Kabul.

Most of the hostile forces the US forces these days are hardly even Taliban, i'm sure you can agree on that. US made fatal mistakes by using bombing in fragile regions such as these, and it lead further and further into a trap of needless slaughter. Empowering the resistance and instilling people with a distrust toward it's occupants. Had the US kept it's enemy clear, a lot of truly bad people would have been disposed of. The real Taliban.
