Jedi Master Gnost-Dural has entered a new holorecord in the Jedi Archive. After a thorough analysis of the evidence, Master Gnost-Dural has discovered that the Mandalorians return to the galaxy and alliance with the Sith was no coincidence—it was the result of years of shadowy machinations by the sinister agents of Imperial Intelligence.
BTC 14 Frustrated by a series of Republic military victories, the Empire began exploring alternative strategies in its drive to conquer the galaxy. Despite the tantalizing offers of Imperial Diplomats, members of the galaxys notorious underworld refused to swear allegiance to the Sith Empire. Thus, Imperial Intelligence began laying the groundwork to win the underworlds loyalty through other means. Infiltrating the gladiatorial arenas of Geonosis, Imperial agents fixed the fights to cultivate the rise of a new Mandalore—an Imperial puppet who would call forth some of the galaxys most proud and independent warriors to unknowingly aid in the Empires http://www.swtorstrategies.com/

This is going to be a great game, but i'm realy a fan of the kotor games, and I realy wish they would wrap up the story. The fact that this game takes place 300 years after the 2nd kotor makes me think that they realy didn't want to continue the story of the game. They may just tell us what hapened to revan and the exile, or not mention it at all, but it realy makes me feel like they were to lazy to make a 3rd kotor and just made a game where thaey could get paid monthly for it.
jedi know what happens when you use dark side because they know the sith the sith believe the force is a weapon to be used to destroy the weak and guide the strong to victory, they have no compassion and no mercy some are less dark then others, but they are all so ruled by their emotions they cannot find peace and end up destroying themselves thats why the jedi teach the way they do, to try and avoid a bad outcome. Kinda like a parent keeping their kids from drinking or smoking.
but i dont want to fight for the republic... in the game they give up half of their planets... and in the movie the sith just hyjack their army... i dont support empires in anymanner but a republic is just electing your dictator every 4 years... (especially after bush lol)
i think of republics as a dictatorship with a smile on it... if the jedi fought for a democracy i would feel better playing them
although the jedi knight saberthrow has me drooling :)
The storyline to this game is so uncreative and unoriginal, couldn't they have come up with some thing else new? It reads like a synopsis of the entire SW Expanded Universe books post-Return of the Jedi along with all six SW movies. Any one else notice this?
these timelines are all set before the game takes place, so they are just trying to set the scene with them. Wait for the actual game to be released before you judge it

republic = pick your dictator
thats why we need democracy... and the funny thing is the democratic party is on their way to it
