Johanna Harness shares her experience planning a novel using clustering techniques. This is especially helpful for those planning to participate in NaNoWriMo.
This is really helpful. You're the sickest. I was looking at different pieces of software to help me plan my novel but I think your idea of pen and paper is MUCH more fluid. Good on ya! :D
I'm midway through my NaNovel, and I have to say that I'm rather impressed by just how much of this came naturally to me. I'm midway through my 100k novel word count goal and my stakes actually did just raise and everything really is about to go tumbling down toward the finale. Regardless, this has been really helpful for me, and I'll likely use some of these planning techniques to finish my novel. Thank you for posting this!

Thank you, I appreciated this. It was very helpful for me since I am not doing well with outlining and I wanted a more free flowing technique.
