@keanoscarermitano619 Ofcourse a tele can be heavy, just as a strat can be:D But emg 81 in mahgony body guitars sounds thick and heavy. It also depends on what you like, and the music you are playing

I also own a Hamer Explorer. Thinking about installing emg's, hard of an install was it? Sound? What year is yours, for my neck is different.

@Darkange999 I dont know what year it is. 199x? something. Installing EMG is easy, and with its solderless system nowadays its a swap in system:P
