Well it's coming to the end of the month, and that means it's time up for all us NaNoWriMo writers. Basically this month, rather than chilling out after stressful launch of the Ambients album, I've been writing a novel. At time of writing I'm on 43,300 words and it's been very fun to do and a real experience, in this vblog I touch upon my best tip for writing the 50,000 words needed to complete NaNoWriMo as well as giving you updates on what's happening with the free 5-track Andromeda EP and the upcoming single "Getting Safer".

  • That's it! Best advice ever! I'll temporary flee from London and come over to haunt Newcastle's metro system for the entire month of November! I am seriously considering this, because although I could apply this method round here - I don't think the Circle line would suit the cause... Thanks!

  • @bababadoobeedoobdoo Haha yep that might work! Though all I was meaning was just finding a place where you're a bit away from it all to get your writing done. The metro works for me but maybe the tube or a new found pub in London might work for you!

I'm not taking part in Nano this year sadly as I'm just too busy with music work but good luck for your writing!

Oh btw, check out my new music video for "Shock! Horror!" if you get the chance!

  • I've just realised how much I look like a hobo in this video. That's what writing does to you, looking through bins for stray words or begging for paragraphs outside the train station.

  • Do you ever get people on the metro asking what you are doing? LOL!

  • So what are you writing about, and will it be available for general public? And what sort of nuclear battery do you have on that macbook(I mean if you write like 50k words away from wall sockets...)

  • Sweet
