I only wish Eponine, in all productions - had more songs or more, moments for herself, kinda pisses me off because, I always think whoever plays her, their voice, wins the show (most of the time)

@garrychelsea You must have missed the original post to which I was responding, saying that they hoped Ms. Barks would get rid of her 'English accent' before the film. I was defending her, saying that her accent was less noticeable than those of her American and Aussie co-stars, yet no comment had been made about them. I merely stated that if you wanted to be pedantic about it, only a French accent would be appropriate. I saw Les Mis on Shaftesbury Ave in 2007 and it was wonderful.

@22kerensa it may be set in france but the english language versions have used cockney accents,so im sure the film will do the same, its what most people associate with the show,i suppose you think that madonna should have done evita with an spanish accent, and phantom to be in a french accent too

Feels rushed to me

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Lea Salonga but i think Samantha Barks is a better fit for this part. Lea makes a FANTASTIC Fantine though.

@22kerensa I don't mind if it's Asian, American or Australian. It's just that while listening to her singing, you can detect her accent in some parts. I hope she works on that to make it more believable.
i can't imagine taylor swift like this.. she'll probably want her guitar and everything :P

@wait1686 A friend took me to Anything Goes and we waited for Sutton Foster at the door afterwards. Sutton was gracious in doing the autograph, but she reeked of (very bad) body odor!
