@motophile That makes sense. Thanks for the reply. btw you friggen rip on that thing

@motophile I'm sure it would be way higher if you rode on the street more, though.

Hi Taylor: I read that you ride the Levees in Dallas. I'd like to know more about where you ride.
Greg in Carrollton - 2008 Yamaha WR 250R and 2007 Yamaha WR 250F

It is in Crowley. Me and another guy have carved out a six mile loop. Come on out when it cools off a bit and I will show you. We might could even swap bikes for a lap if you want. WRR is pretty good offroad once you get some Track Master tires installed. I also did a few other mods. @taylor4I4ce

What type of MPG do you get with that WR usually?

Oh about 60mpg ont the street before the mods, now about 30 mpg after the mods. But WAY worth it to me. I rarely ride on street except to get to trails.

@motophile 30mpg? what are your mods a hole in the gas tank? But seriously just curious as to your mods because 30 sounds really low for a 250

@nd4spd420 Well if it is good mileage you want it can sip gas all day long. The power programmer can really suck some gas down if you are going for optimum performance, with FMF exhaust and a gear change. I tend to ride it like a 2 stroke and I can feel the tank getting lighter after 15 minutes of hard riding.

Thanks for posting this video - it helped me chose the same bike. I love my WR250R and this video is one of the things that swayed my decision to get one.

Nice! Still loving my WRR. 106 degrees today so not riding much lately. One thing the WRR did for me was get me back into riding/racing, which I plan to do more of in the fall. If you are ever out Fort Worth way, lets hit the trails!
