  • Hi. I was wondering if you could tell me where is the port of this sub. Is it right below the speaker, on the front corner? I couldn't find this information on the net. I'm considering to buy it, but for my application the port needs to be on the front because I'm placing it pretty close to the corner of my room. Thank you for the information and congratulations on your sub.

  • @emaildodiegao

Its a sealed enclosure so there are no ports. There is simply a vent on the bottom for the amp to breath. The subwoofer was designed to be put in a corner so you shouldn't be concerned about its placement. Just be sure the walls are sturdy and that there isn't anything nailed to the walls around it because this sub produces some serious bass down to the low 20s.

  • Mic and the door behind it rattling... I have never heard this subwoofer struggle or distort

  • I have many Klipsch subs and speakers, the Reference line brings great value for the money.

The RSW,RT-10/12d,THX and new Palladium subs are all very clean sounding and quality units.

The "song" used however "Bass I hate you" is rubish. Any less musical quality and we have test tones...!

  • @KlipschEAR

Oh believe me, I have the RF-63's so I know just how crappy the song truly sounds, but you can't deny the fact that the bass is very deep... hence the video.

  • @derbigpr500 ha I have the 2.1 Klipsch ProMedia with an HD sound card...but I know YouTube kills the quality of whatever he records...

  • @ltrebl Chances are, speakers / headphones you're listening trough are 100 times worse than this sub, and cant reproduce bass that sub can.... you're listening to YOUR equipement, not THAT SUB. No matter how good that thing sounds, you will only hear it as good as your own equipement cant reproduce it, and as good as his camera can record it.... i'll never understand how clueless someone has to be in order to think he can hear how certain speakers sound trough youtube....

  • the room its in cant take the immence sub pressure

  • There is something wrong with your speaker. holy shit, its a waste of money.

  • so that sound of distortion is from the mic then?

  • I think the sub has legs when you play this song.

anyway the"music"is pretty clear.I bet you have nice speakers.it's not all bass and bass.

but it seems that there is something on the sub or near it that makes a certain rattle noise.

if you have nice neadphones you can hear almost everything.I have a pair of Sony MDR-XB500 and they sound good

  • If you're looking for bass, try dubstep.
