that bpm thing works but don't use it. it isn't exact and it will--i promise--slow you down. once you've been doing it for several months you can get the pitch down almost EXACT, and you'll be able to do it in seconds, i swear. It's the main skill of djing, and you'll notice that good dj's do it instantaneously. you'll be able to; people's potentials don't differ as much as you think.

if you want to be a good Dj you must practice your ears to hear are songs beatchmatched or not, forget the BPM counter..

hey, I'm looking at this exact setup. would you recommend it? it is going to be my first setup for actual djing, I usually just make sets out of ableton. that's a pretty sweet mix by the way.
