man. I want whatever you're making, I just got my old Genesis back, and I noticed it has a headphone output, which would be perfect for capturing audio. I have the SMS adapter too. Fantasy Zone II anyone?

@themattsmeow you gotta have the correct software to transfer it. google: lsdj tranfer bleepbloop or something... im sure you will find the same results, it wouldnt hurt you to read through the forums anyhow.

HEY I WAS WONDERING IF YOU COULD TELL ME HOW TO LOAD KITS TO LSDJ..I DOWNLOADED KITS FROM KITCH-BENT AND I READ YOUR TUTORIAL ON HOW TO MAKE KITS OVER AND OVER AGAIN,,BUT THE TUTORIAL JUST SAYS AT THE END "Now it is simply a matter of tranfering your newly created custom LSDJ ROM to your LSDJ cart "..AND THATS MY PROBLEM..I HAVE A BLEEP BLOOB USB CART AND LSDJ PATCHER AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO TRANSFER..SO ANY HELP WOULD BE AMAZING.. =D

And anyway, FM synthesis CAN use any waveform you want, it's just that Yamaha settled on sine waves for their FM application because of their harmonic content. But even Yamaha made some FM synths that had more waveforms. FM means Frequency Modulation, it's not strictly for sine waves.

@randall642 This synthesis is not FM - it uses the DAC channel on the YM2612.
