One of my favorites. Very similar in tone to "Shinsengumi Chronicles: A Band of Assassins", but a little more romantic and nostalgic in it's view of the samurai.

Funny, everytime I mention this movie to my friends who also love martial arts films, I always have to explain that, "No, I don't mean the Tom Cruise movie! LOL!
