try their song "i dont get it" ;) coil is an experiance try thing.they take you into a journey of sound and if you see them live then sight and sound.they attempt to bring you out of your human shell. listen to coil with an open mind and open heart.they shouldnt fail you. i notice some persons who live rather normal lives in most cases or never seen harsh realities tend to not like them.this is something i noticed.just trying to help you understand.

I think with Coil it is the best not to think as of typical band/music/genre, they're out of this world and so is their musick, try to clear your mind from everything you've heard so far, don't think of anything and just let the sounds take you for a journey, I was first so confused with Coil and didn't get it for a while but it worked for me when I silenced all my internal 'voices' and beliefs and just let their musick to flow thorugh me and take my for the journey, NO DRUGS NEEDED!
