Jamie Humphries is a UK based sessions guitarist, who have produced many instructional DVD's for Lick Library, written many of the "Jam With" Total Accuracy books and CD packages. He also has 3 books and CD sets available published by Sanctuary, Giants of Rock, Giants of Metal, and Crash Course Electric Guitar. Jamie has also been transcribing for Guitar Techniques Magazine for 12 years, as well a being featured in Total Guitar, Guitarist and Guitar World. Jamie has recorded session's many record labels including Virgin, Sony and Phonetic, and performed on the UK Top 20 single "Rocket" by Braund Reynolds in 2006. His guitar playing can also be heard on the BBC1 cartoon Freefonix, the BBC drama Hustle, and the ITV drama The Fixer. He also performed and co wrote the theme to Divina Mccoll BBC1 chat show. His guitar playing has also been used by Sky Sports, Sky Movies, and Top Gear.
Jamie has been a long term endorsee of Ernie Ball Musicman Guitars, working with the company since 1998 performing clinics in the UK, USA and Japan. Jamie also endorses Blackstar amplifiers, and DiMarzio pickups.

@DanizDAN They are DiMarzio 36th Anniversary Pafs,so slightly different to regular Pafs. They are the lowest output pickups DiMarzio do. I prefer low output pickups as I pretty much have a crunch tone all the time, and clean things up with the guitar volume, which is pretty hard to do with high output pickups. I personal prefer the tone of low output pickups also, as I dont really use a lot of gain, which tomy ears gives me a sweeter more defined tonethats no too compressed. Jamie Humphries

Hi guys..once again thanks for your comments. Just to let you all know I played my first gig in September with rock legends Queen, Brian asked me to fill the position as his 2nd guitarist. Hi redstrip41j..haha yeah i know it looks that way!!...its just the harmony section is an easy place for me to add the scrunchie...I only really use it so the tapping licks are clean when I perform over the backing track...Jamie
