When to tell

I thought I'd rant about when to tell someone you're trans while trying to date. I've personally never had this issue, but I know a lot of people have. Amy and I started dating, and I came out 6 months into our relationship.

I agree with you that importance should be placed on the person not the genitals however, when a Trans person is going on a date with someone who does not know, especially if there is potential for romance, it doesn't seem right to not disclose that because it opens the door for heartache (by both people) should that person not accept/understand it . Other than that, it's really nobody's business.

Yeah, but you shouldn't really tell someone before there is an interest established, otherwise it's way TMI.

I agree with this while I tell a person Im trans before intimacy, I don't agree with telling on the first date however most people that know me know I'm Trans anyway.

I don't really see why people make such an issue about this. If you love someone that should be enough o.O I don't really have a frame of reference though seeing as I am deficit a libido.
