"no style is better than the other" is a big fat lie. The simplicity and effectiveness is far beyond taekwondo etc. But ofc you can get a lucky shot knockout in any way.

Americans aren't known for there ability to fight. It's common for thai's to have 200-400 fights, where American boxers may have 30-50 tops. The U.S. is about 300 years old, Thai's have been training muay thai, muay boran etc..1500+ years. Again, martial arts hasn't been our strong suit.
