Makes me think of the days when dad went out and shot some squirrels for squirrel gravy and mom, my sister and me walked down through the hollar pickin up cans along th side of the road to recycle in town for some money for food. Dad was a good hunter and there was always plenty of beer cans along the roads so we never went hungry for too long. Being poor ain't no fun.
