Conventional 'small incison' catarct surgery is done throught a 2.8-3.2mm incison with excellent results. Cutting edge technology and new lens implants allow this procedure to be completed through a 1.8mm incison (40% smaller than conventional). This results in a more stable wound, quicker haeling and very satisfied patients. Dr Prasad is one of a very small number of eye surgeons in the UK, who uses this cuttng edge technique.
