Russia's Prime Minister Vladimir Putin travelled from St. Petersburg to Moscow via the new high-speed Sapsan train.

With a top speed of 250 kilometers per hour, the train's journey takes 3.5 hours.

Russia's Railway CEO Vladimir Yakunin and train chief designer Andreas Lipp showed Putin around the train.
