Castiel and Thorn play quietly

Castiel, a deaf 8 month old great dane puppy and Thorn, a visiting 18 month old Rhodisian Ridgeback/Boxer/Lab cross, play quietly on the floor. Thorn is visiting Castiel's home and the two are learning how to live up to their humans' expectations while living together. Both like to play, but are being taught that we have to use our indoor manners when playing inside. If they get out of hand, the dogs are separated for a period of time until they have become calm again (usually to the point of sleeping, but at least no longer giving each other attention). They are then released and allowed to play until such time as they get out of hand. They are quickly learning manners for indoor play.
