Everybody's got Flu Fever! But do you know the difference between flu and cold symptoms?

The symptoms of swine flu are very similar to the symptoms most adults are already aware of as signs & symptoms of typical influenza infestations. This includes fever, sore throat, malaise, muscle soreness/fatigue, decreased appetite, sneezing, coughing, headache and nausea. Swine flu also seems to include more frequent instances of diarrhea and/or vomiting, compared to most typical cases of human influenza.

A cold is a respiratory illness which is more tame than the flu. If you have a cold, the symptoms could make you feel sick for a few days, while flu symptoms could last for weeks. The flu can possibly lead to hospitalization and pneumonia.

You can prevent flu virus!

Don't share drinks, food or utensils with sick people!

Always wash your hands before you eat! It will really help to keep away the germs!

Take more vitamin C! Bboost your immune system by eating lots of fresh vegetables and fruits! How about some broccoli, tomatoes or oranges?

Drink at least eight glasses of water a day. Diluted fruit juices and herbal teas will increase your water intake, too!

Get plenty of sleep. Most people need at least 7 to 8 hours a night to get the best rest!

Don't stress out! Too much stress can weaken your immune system.

Take a multivitamin every day to make sure you are getting enough vitamins and minerals.

Exercise regularly! Exercise has been shown to help reduce the occurrence of colds and flu. Jenga Jam! _Z-C8NU3SVM

  • good job....! keep them coming

  • Thank you kindly! We're working on more!

  • How quickly could you and Elwood make a video for kids having needle anxiety? My 8 year old is begging not to get it and promises to was his hand more and wear 2 sweaters if I let him skip the flu shots this year. We usually get the seasonal one because I have ashma. It use to take 2 nurses to hold him & another to give the needle but our current doctor has been able to do it with just me hugging his arms for the last 2 years.

  • We're working on the video now!

  • Terry, Connie and Devin thought the video was great, as well as being a very appropriate and timely public health annoucement! Elwood and Dulci remind us of a couple we know, but we can't quite put our finger on who ...

  • @tcdpowell Tell Terry, Connie and Devin we said thanks! If you ever think of the couple, let us know!

  • I really like this, its so funny! :) Please make more videos

  • i never get vaccines b/c to ME they just pussify your immune system. i usually get colds, not the flu. but either way so long as you keep your hands out of your mouth (AND eyes!) you've got a lesser chance on catching what everyone else has. alcohol gel & hand washing, Vitamin C rich Vitamin Water for me, and i'm good.

  • cool!!!

  • i really like this video! very important to get flu vaccine.
