Hideki Matsui intentionally walked during the 5th inning of Gamne 1 of the AA Eastern League's Northern Divisional PLayoffs between the Trenton Thunder and Portland Sea Dogs. The crown boos lustily.

  • no intentionally is when the catcher stands up and holds his arm out thats the signal

  • It was intentional. You have to watch the whole clip. The catcher stands and puts his left arm out at the end, as the last pitch is being delivered. They had started pitching to him, but when the man on first took second base (on a steal, I think, though it oculd have been on that wild pitch) they had first base open so they put Matsui on and pitched to Shelley Duncan instead, who popped out to end the inning.
