The Enchanted Forest, Altadena

***READ FIRST***
On May 30, 2008 a group of Eagle Rock High School students exited a showing of "The Strangers" at the Paseo-Colorado Shopping Center. They then proceeded up Lake Avenue to a local McDonald's. From there the students continued up to the Cobbs Estate, also known as the Enchanted Forest, which is rumored to be haunted. Shortly after arriving the 15 ERHS students encountered a group of roughly 20 students from San Gabriel High School and the two groups decided to head west of the Enchanted Forest up Echo Mountain to find the ruins of the once grand Echo Mountain House.

First Segment: In Joe's car on the way to McDonald's

Second Segment: In the parking lot of McDonald's

Third Segment: At the Enchanted Forest/Echo Mountain

Camera work is a shaky because I had to try to walk on the rocky dirt trail while trying to narrate what is going on, plus the light to my camera (which doesn't have night vision) is quite blinding so i had trouble seeing where i was going. Please try to get past that.

@sblachly naw I don't know this was just a really long time ago. I put it up just cuz we had filmed our trip there. I mean I suppose most people wouldn't care for it much, but I guess my friends might like the sentimental value of it.

how do you get to the top? i went with friends soo many times and i just caught the dead end! its is scary! but a few times going you get use to it. the scary part is sometimes authorites are there at the gate on the way back so we have to wait in the forest

you have to go rite at when the initial paved road bends left and uphill. there's a little dirt trail and that'll take you all the way to the top where the old hotel is

We just went up there 2 day UN pep eared with no flashlights or anything else and I it was only me and my 2 friends. and we walked from lake station from the metro train all the way up 2 the forest and I'm not lying when I tell u this.
