Draaiorgel "De Baron" Plays Old and New Arrangements

Here we have the 50 key Limonaire street organ "The Baron" playing a few books, old and new.

This organ does not use the standard eight bass Limonaire scale but a more compact six bass one, only actually using 44 keys. This gives the organ a very unique repertoire from arrangers such as Adrie Vergier, Tom Meijer, Dick Gillet, James Reid and others.

The organ is owned by Richard Storey from Scarborough, England.

Hier hebben we de 50 toets Limonaire draaiorgel "De Baron" te verslaan met een paar boeken, oud en nieuw.

Dit orgel maakt geen gebruik van de standaard acht bass Limonaire gamme maar een meer compacte zes bass een, eigenlijk alleen met behulp van 44 toetsen. Dit geeft het orgel een zeer unieke repertoire van arrangeurs zoals Adrie Vergier, Tom Meijer, Dick Gillet, James Reid en anderen.

That's for about 25 years since the last time i heard this fine organ. I can still remember it playing Dinah medley that time. It's in the perfect condition it deserves!

I regognise the sound from the ols vinyl records from the Telstar label.
