@tiredfingers99 well yeah only when its a red flag or really rough...u can always just go to the bay and swim...and if its a red flag its not just lavallette its seaside, ortley, and all other beaches...

One year we rented in Lavalette and the lifegaurd said that we couldn't go into the ocean past our knees because it was too rough , well that ruined our week vacation there, and now were not coming back. I wonder if the same problems exist with the lifegaurds still. Thanks.
