  • Was your FPS running above 60 or around the 30s?

  • @FrosChannel 30s

  • High Settings and 2X Anti-Aliasing....awesome! Can you give me some information about the fan noise? is it noisy? i hate playing games on my macbook pro because the fan is really loud.

BTW: Thanks. I really appreciate your effort.

  • @HighscoreHeroes Fans are very quiet.

  • I have the same iMac but with the ATI HD 4670 and 500Gb. Do you think I can easily buy Civ V or I'll have problems to run it on my computer? Thx.

  • Eeeek! 1920x1200 resolution with 2xMSAA? Nice! For me I set to 1440x900 (default resolution) at 0xMSAA but I turn on Vsync and high on everything else. Anti-aliasing isn't really that needed at your resolution for RTS and turned-based games.

  • 5670 1GB is still a good card at this point of time, being able to max out games like Bad Company 2 (without ambient occlusion), Dirt 2 or Civ 5 with some moderate anti-aliasing at 1280x1024 or 1440x900 mainstream resolutions. It might be forced to run games on medium within a year though, but it's still good.
