dont buy the crappy tx's pads. stick with cobalt flux!

@JapplengUniversity I have thought about putting a foam pad onto plywood, covering it with a large piece of plexiglass, but i ended up building a PIU dance pad with the controller box from my only foam pad

i dont have this exact pad, i have one of those silver TX 6000 series and i must say what a piece of shit it is !!!! for 200 EUR, a really poor deal. the bar broke off after mild using after 2 wks. and as for the pad itself i've had it for 9 mnths now and wish I had paid a bit more for Cobult Flux. DONT BUY this PAD guys or you'll be spending more time fixing shitty sensitivity (or no sensitivity) than playing!!!

@oddysea682 sweet, lemme know how it turns out!

@JapplengUniversity Also ive been working on my PIU pad, and ive gotten 4 of 5 arrows to work without or little issue.figure if i have 2 weeks off why not work on something
-
@oddysea682 nicely done! Not many people can create that kind of modification and i applaud you for it. What's nice about that is that such a system can be easier to replace parts when needed.
-
@oddysea682 That is hilarious because I had the very same experience at the movie theaters where they have DDR machines here xD Foam can be modified though, ever considered getting plywood and wrapping the pad with masking tape? It won't move around much and I'm sure you can use creativity to make it even better. The downside is that when it comes down to fix it or replace it, it'll be a pain to take off the tape.

@JapplengUniversity Man back when i first started playing DDR, i was stuck with the soft foam pads until i found an arcade with a DDR cabinet. luckily my local arcade still has their DDR Extreme machine, but the screws they used on the brackets have a large head, and the foam is worn out, so sometimes i may trip on an edge of an arrow.

@oddysea682 Pretty much but it can enhance games but don't let a korean get hold of it. Their 200APM will grow to 10000 and become truly impossible to beat in the MLG :P by the way, as it turns out the champion pad that I got is compatible but I got a bad PS2 to PC converter. DDRGAME is sending me another one even though I ordered it through amazon. I wish I had gone through them first, AND I would have saved about $100 for two pads -_-;

@JapplengUniversity wow you either need to be effin lazy to use it, or paraplegic
-
@oddysea682 You want lazy? go to emotiv's website and watch their video on how their headset works. It's a mind reading thing that you put on your head and you can control just about any game you want, however you want. You can run, shoot, jump, even type but you have to setup "calibration sessions". It has a lot of practical uses and the disabled can now play games, HOWEVER -- give that to a lazy gamer and lazy just got redefined.
This is a terrible pad. Unless you want to spend a couple hours every week fixing this and soldering this and dealing with cracked pannels and terrible foil sensors and poorly soldered wires, I would not recommend these pads... That's all I have to say... I would say just save up and get a blueshark, BUT that's apparently not to easy now to get your hands on one

Your opinion is very correct.
I do not want also to recommend others this pad.
Because this pad breaks down immediately if it doesn't improve it many times.
It took three months to do it though I improved to use it satisfying this pad.
All panels are exchanged from the acrylic fiber of the thickness of 3mm to the
polycarbonate of the thickness of 5mm,
All the foil sensors are exchanged for the aluminum board of the thickness of 0.2mm.
