Spain is no longer a place where British people choose to spend a summer holiday. We can get a 5 star hotel in Turkey much much cheaper. No British person in their right mind would buy a house or apartment in Spain these days.

If that is her assessment, then she will never be successful in her career! The economy is not just a crisis it is a fully fledge world depression and it is going to get even worse taking us to WW3! With the advance of machines and technology, we all need less humans to work. The WTO has unilaterally favoured low labour cost countries like China & Asia for manufacturing, this enterpreneuial, capitalist intervention kill the West. Like Australia I am living, there is only a few heavy industry manufacturing left. This breeds devastating effect through all levels from industrial to finance to housing. To be cynical, one can say the West in partic. USA breeds its own disaster with 0 tariff.
