the one I made had a handle 9 degrees to the blade. it gives more leverage when splitting the wood.
hello sir, same band saw I have old timer , heavy and built like a tank. What size blade does that use?

I find the welds break pretty soon with frequent use. I'm gonna try make one from one piece, forge welded.
