I saw and heard Vin in 75 or 76 at a couple of New York City venues: The Eagle Tavern and The Bells of Hell. He was hilarious and played TWO tin whistles at a time!
The Eagle Tavern had a great seisiun on Monday nights; and I do believe he joined in. I own several of his LPs from that era. Maybe it's time to download some MP3s from his web site.

I forgot to mention, he's also one of the funniest people I've ever met and plays a great tin whistle.

i worked with Vin not so long back, i soune engineered him on the radio. he is very down to earth and has a great sence of humour. If you ever meet up with him again, he's always willing to speak and have a laugh. My experience with Vin was excellent and memorable
