FLStudio Project (House Loop) HD

A brief video showing a small 'house' loop I have created using FL Studio and vaguely how it was done. I am using the 'Vangaurd' VST and 'Sytrus' mostly for the sounds you hear in my song. As for playing the keyboard notes, I am simply using my regular qwerty keyboard! Time to get a real midi keyboard.

really good, unless your a live preformer, i see that you wanted all ur tracks on one sequence and did not dvide the patters which is ok but you will have problems when rendering the tracks, unless you record the songs like via stereo mix on another program like acoustica. this is really good and the way you started a pattern like a live pad 5/5 btw this is trance not house, a wee bit too fast

Now try doing it on a playlist, Master it, Add effects, and complex build ups, then it would be worth to watch on youtube. i swear youtube just lets anything get posted up no matter how gay.

Considering this was like the 3rd time I ever fired up a Midi Sequencer program and was using my QWERTY keyboard for input, yes it's very primitive to say the least. Check out my other videos, I've learned to use Ableton Live now.

good, but you need some new drum samples or need to make some with some plugins. FL's stock drums are god awful

And for the record, it's not only the BPM which makes the music/genre, unless you go for mainstream. The samples used and how you mix the track pays a great deal in which genre it is - just to make this clear to all the future viewers.

@anteeboy yes those drums do/did suck but that's what you have the mixer for. Learn how to use the mixer and no stock sound will be as crappy as they are without it.
